California Overlander Rentals is a family-started and family-owned adventure rental company based in Dublin, California.

We’re Luke and Melody, a husband-and-wife team with three boys and a shared love for the great outdoors. Our story started long before California Overlander Rentals—we met while working in the same emergency room, where teamwork, trust, and helping people were part of our everyday lives. Over time, that same spirit carried into our family adventures, road trips, camping weekends, and exploring the places that make California and the West so special.

We created California Overlander Rentals to help more people experience the freedom of overlanding without needing to own or build a fully equipped rig. Whether you’re heading to the mountains, the desert, the coast, or beyond, our goal is to make adventure easier, more comfortable, and more accessible.

Our vehicles are built for families, couples, friends, and first-time explorers who want to get outside, disconnect, and create lasting memories. From California to Nevada, Oregon, Arizona, and throughout the lower 48 states, we’re excited to help you start your next adventure.
